MP to flag off Jammu-Haridwar new train

Current session of Parliament remained useful: Jugal

Claiming that the Union government has conceded the genuine and popular demand of the people of the state which had been continuously projected by him and as a result, the Railway Ministry has decided to run a regular weekly train between Jammu and Haridwar every Sunday to ease the public rush and provide more travel facilities to the Hindu pilgrims, BJP Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma said that it is yet another gift of the Modi government to the people of this state.
Addressing a press conference at Trikuta Nagar office on Saturday, Jugal said that the new train shall be flagged off by Union Railway Minister, Suresh Prabhu, from Mumbai on August 14 through video conferencing and he himself will be at Jammu Railway station to flag it off.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the current session of Parliament remained useful as bills related to GST, IIT, NEET were passed and added that starting of IIT classes in Jammu is a land mark achievement. He said that the session also passed the bill pertaining six month maternity leave with full pay has also been a major decision of the NDA government.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, who will be leading “Tiranga Yatra” in his Parliamentary Constituency which shall commence from Trikuta Nagar office of the party on August 15, said that the motive of the Yatra is to educate the people about the significance of Independence and induce a sense of patriotism in them. He also said that Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and MoS, Dr. Jitendra Singh will be visiting Smailpur, the birth place of Pt. Premnath Dogra on August 21, where they will be paying their tributes to the former President of Praja Parishad.
The MP also announced that an amount of Rs. 249 crores has been sanctioned by the Union government to materialize the mega project of construction of Indri Pattanto Pargwal bridge over river chenab to serve as a link between Pargwal and Jourian, which was decades old demand of the people of the area, who had been suffering a lot in absence of a dependable mean of transport.
Advising the opposition parties not to play politics in the name of Dalits, Jugal said that the PM Narendra Modi has expressed grave concern over reported atrocities on this section of the society and assured that the members of this community are equal and inseparable part of the Indian society and anyone inflicting atrocities on them would be dealt with a strong hand.
BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru and State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan were also present in the press conference.
