Kerala Government Urged to Stop Killing of Innocent BJP – RSS Workers
Imposition of Governor Rule in Kerala Demanded. In order to register strong protest against the recent atrocities by the CPM miscreants on the BJP and RSS workers in Kerala, today a strong protect Dharna was held outside the office of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri. The protesters were carrying banners and placards demanding capital punishment for all those who are involved in the recent violence in Kerala. These incidents have led to the killing of 10 BJP and RSS workers including a women. The protest was led by the Chairman Nagarik Manch Rajouri Hardev Raj Verma. Addressing the gathering Hardev said that recent incidents of violence have no place in any civilized society. He called upon everyone to remain united and condemn the recent brutal killing of innocent people in Kerala in one voice. He further added that the violence by CPM party in Kearla has reached to such a height that these people have even started attacking honest police personnel who take action against them. He urged the central Government to immediately intervene into the matter and impose Governor rule in the state. This he said will save the lives and property of hundreds of innocent BJP and RSS workers in the state.
The dharna was also joined by BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta. Addressing the gathering Vibodh said that it is the moral and legal duty of the Kerala Government to provide safety and security to the people of the state. For this he said there should be no discrimination by the law enforcing authorities of the state and police must act impartially while maintaining law and order. He called upon the Hon’ble president of India to immediately intervene into the matter and save the situation from worsening further. Immediate establishment of the peace and harmony in the state is the need of the hour. Vibodh demanded announcement of the rehabilitation package for all the suffers of recent violence and said that those who have lost their life and property must be compensated on priority. Vibodh along with other protestors demanded a high level probe into the recent case of killing and looting in Kerala particularly in Kannur district. He also demanded capital punishment for all those who were involved in these cases of violence. On this occasion all the protestors unanimously resolved that they will stand like a wall behind all the innocent sufferers of recent violence in Kerala and shouted slogans against the CPM Government in Kerala. Latter all the protestors submitted a memorandum to the District Development Commissioner Rajouri for further forwarding the same to the office of Hon’ble President of India. Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Omkar Nath Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Dinesh Sharma, Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Kamal Gupta, Rajiv Gupta, Kamal Bakshi, Naval Gupta, Satpal Sharma, Karan Thakur and Ranjeet Tara.
