Party MPs to spend 48 hours in a constituency: Sat

During party’s nationwide programmes from April 6 to 14, every MP of BJP will have to spend 48 hours in one of the Parliamentary constituency, meet the party activists, interact with the public and stay with them following local hospitality instead of going to Guest House or other luxurious accommodations.
This was announced by BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, while addressing a meeting of State Office Bearers, District and Mandal Presidents, Morcha State Presidents, alongwith State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Pawan Khajuria and Harinder Gupta at party headquarter.
Sat Sharma said that the BJP at the national level has chalked out programmes from April 6 to April 14 to be organized at Shakti Kendra / Ward levels across the country. While April 6 will be celebrated as the Foundation Day of BJP, April 14, the birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, will be celebrated as “Social Equality Day” (Samrasta Divas). During these 9 days, various programmes will be held at different levels and every MP of party will be deputed to reach a particular constituency of Lok Sabha, who shall remain there continuously for 48 hours to spend the time with local activists, meet the people and provide them an opportunity for direct interaction. The MPs will highlight the programmes and policies of Narendra Modi government aimed at social and economic upliftment of the poor and needy. He said that Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi will stay in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency for 48 hours, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma will be in Baramulla constituency and Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas will spend 48 hours in Anantnag constituency.
Sat Sharma also sought the details about the number of people who participated in PM Narendra Modi’s rally at Udhampur and also the public feedback from the district and Mandal Presidents from their respective areas. Each one them explained that it was indeed an historic event with great enthusiasm among the people, who had all the appreciation for the works being sanctioned and undertaken by Modi government for the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
The meeting had an opportunity to learn about Bhim App through presentation by BJP Social Media & IT Incharge Jaidev Rajwal, who put forth an impressive demonstration on the Less Cash Economy by using the latest IT techniques.
