Carrying forward the mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and continuing the cleanliness drive around the constituency, MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated a Sulabh Shouchalya here near Bus stand, BC Road in Ward number 8 at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.90 Lacs in the presence of JMC officials, Sulabh International officials, local leaders and local residents of the area. State Vice President BJP Yudhvir Sethi, Jt. Commissioner JMC RS Jamwal and various senior officials were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that it is imperative that a people from all walks of life should contribute collectively in making our surroundings clean. People should come forward and take active steps to make their areas clean.
Terming the laying of foundation stone of this public conveniences complex as a small step, Sharma said that realizing Prime Minister’s dream of clean India is a distant dream and this could only be achieved through people’s participation that too with absolute enthusiasm and dedication.
Sat Sharma also said that it was an old demand of residents and shop owners of the area which was pending from more than a decade and starting of such thing will surely help in promoting cleanliness across the surroundings.
