Promoting his developmental agenda including proper sanitation system in all spheres of Jammu West, BJP State President and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) started the construction works of lane at Bharat Nagar area of Talab Tillo falling in Ward number 40. Accompanied by a large number of people, including officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sharma started the works in the presence of local residents, social activists and political activists of the area.
The works will be done under the supervision of JMC and a proper system of channelizing the flow of rain water will also be constructed under the same so that water from rains could not enter the homes of local residents of the area. Pertinent to mention, the area suffered a lot in the rainy season and after the initiative of the MLA, the works of Desilting of drains upto tail end and construction were taken up in the area in order to provide proper sanitation system to the masses of Jammu West.
Sharma stated that to provide a proper sanitation system to the masses of Jammu West, a cleanliness drive will be the main focus in all 26 wards of Jammu West in the coming days so that a system of proper cleanliness must prevail in the Constituency. He also stated that in the coming time a proper system of drainage upto the main Deep Drain under the supervision of JMC and UEED will also be constructed in order to avoid future problems for the masses.
He said that it is the dream of our Prime Minister to build a clean and green nation in coming years so it becomes the responsibility of each every person as well to contribute in the noble cause in order to build a clean aura around.
