State President BJP and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) started construction works of Lanes and Drains at Janipur Opposite C Block and Lower Shiv Nagar areas of Ward Number 37 and 33. Senior officials of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) and a large number of people including locals, social and political activists were also present on the occasion.
The works are undertaken under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rupees 8.32 lakhs.
Sat Sharma also extensively toured the adjoining areas as well along with the JMC officials and locals concerning the upcoming works to be taken up in the area. He also directed the officials as well to note down the works and immediately prepare the estimates so that the works could be taken up at the earliest.
On the demands of general public, he also asked the concerned officials to prepare estimates for Park Opposite Government quarters Janipur in order to provide better assistance to the masses.
The public also demanded for a Community Hall at Shiv Mandir, Janipur to which the BJP leader promised that a community hall will be built inside the temple and he also assured that any requirement for the construction of the same will be given through his CDF (Constituency Development Fund). He also assured of giving a Water Cooler at Shiv Mandir for general public use.
