Ramesh arora MLC was invited at International (Asia and Africa) Parliamentarians Conference on “Enhancing the role of Parliamentarians in the inter-linkage between Population Issues and the 2030 agenda for sustainable Development on three days conference at Hotel Le Meridien New Delhi. The countries from where the Hon’ble Parliamentarians will participate includes Cameroon, Djibouti, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi , Tanzania, Zambia, Malaysia, Nepal, Tajisktan, Japan, Philippine, Lao PDR, Turkey, Jordan and India.
Mr. Ramesh arora said that such type of conference gives an opportunity of Interaction between the parliamentarians of different countries and also create an atmosphere where we can understand the working of democracy and other forms of government in different countries and moreover issues of international importance are resolved by implementing the same in our states and country.
Mr Arora appreciated the role of Indian Association of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (IAPPD) a national Autonomous non-profitable organization working under the chairmanship of Prof. P.J.Kurien, Dy. Chairman Rajya Sabha and Asian Population and Development Association (APDA)which is headed by former Prime Minister of Japan Mr. Yasuo Fukuda who are jointly organizing a conference on “Enhancing the Role of Parliamentarians in the inter-linkage between population issues and the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
