Coping up with the requirements of needy youth, BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) started the construction works for much awaited Boys Hostel at Guru Nabha Dass Community Hall at Dogra Hall area of Ward Number 8. Accompanied by a large number of officials, Sharma started the works in the presence of officials of JMC, local residents, members of Guru Nabha Dass Trust and political activists of the area.
The works will be taken up under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 13 lakhs and the amount for the same has been contributed by MLA through his CDF (Constituency Development Fund) scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma assured them that any extra funds required for the completion of the same will be arranged in a phased manner so that the works for the same could be completed in a stipulated period of time.
He said that this initiative will help local youth and boys coming from outside the town to cater with their needs as the Trust authorities will provide accommodation to the youth at a very nominal cost which could be paid by anyone or they have also opted for free accommodation to those who are very needy which shows a great sense of responsibility and humanity towards society.
He also stated that for coping up with the needs of the common masses and needy people community halls are available in almost every ward of Jammu West Assembly segment and in coming times some stress will also be placed upon such things which will benefit the needy masses directly on a large scale.
Maheshwar Dass Dardi, Chairman Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj Trust & Dr Manohar Lal Rao, President of All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha thanked MLA on behalf of Mahasha Community for this noble cause and stated that whole community will forever remember the service provided by their representative to them.
