Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas reviewed ongoing development works particularly upcoming mega park at Paloura Pond. He inspected the Paloura pond along with Mandeep Kour, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Vinod Sharma CEO ERA and other officials of various department where construction work is in progress.
Shamsher Singh while inspecting the ongoing work of Paloura Pond directed all the concerned officials to complete this mega project in stipulated time. Development of Mega park and pond at Paloura is carried out with an estimated cost of Rs 6 cr. After completion of this project, this mega park and pond would be the best tourist spot in the centre of city.
Construction of park and allied works is in full swing. Protection walls for construction of pond have been raised and filling of boundary is in progress. Shamsher said respective govts in state have neglected ponds and available sources of land remain underdevelop.
MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas said BJP Govt at centre led by Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi is keen for development across state. Every region of state will get equitable development in coming days. Our Agenda is only and only overall development of state. He said people are facing sanitation and assured that things will be rightfull soon.
During inspection of Paloura pond and park, Parmod Sharma Xen Municipality, Mr Saraf AEE Municipality, Rajan Sharma Xen UEED, Director ERA, Mr Satish SE ERA, , Xen Floriculture, AEE Floriculture, Municipality and officials of UEED, ERA, Floriculture and Municipality were also present on this occasion.
