To make them feel as they are not away from their homes and families, BJP Mahila Morcha activists led by Morcha State President Purnima Sharma reached the Suchetgarh Border Post to tie rakhis to the jawans of BSF posted there.
BJP State President & MLA Sat Sharma, Local MLA & PHE Minister Sham Choudhary, Prabhari Vikram Randhawa, MoS Education Priya Sethi, District President Brijeshwar Rana also joined the celebrations of this festival.
While Purnima Sharma, Priya Sethi and Mahila Morcha team tied rakhi sutras to the jawans, Sat Sharma, Sham Choudhary and other leaders of BJP gifted sweets to each one of them. The entire scene was giving a totally homely look and the smile on the faces of the jawans itself displayed as they were having a feeling that someone own is with them although they are hundreds of kilometers away from their sisters, parents and friends.
Sat Sharma, while extending greetings to BSF jawans on behalf of the party, said that it is not for the first time that the Mahila Morcha activists have visited border post on the festival of Raksha Bandhan. The BJP is of the view that the citizens of the country get calm sleeps and feel secure because our brave jawans of army and BSF are on borders to take care. He said that although they are not at their homes todays but our Mahila Morcha activists also are not sitting in their homes but are on borders and army units to make them feel that they too are their sisters.
Purnima Sharma said that the Mahila Morcha took the initiative of tying Raksha sutra to jawan brothers so that they dont feel lonenly staying away from home or miss their sisters on this festival. She thanked them for always protecting the sisters like brothers every moment.
Sham Choudhary and Priya sethi also conveyed their greetings of the day and expressed hope that each jawan of BSF posted at Suchetgarh is blessed good health and safety of his life while defending the borders.
