The worst discriminated in Indian society is the girl child, the future mother about whom holy scriptures hold that heaven lies at feet of mother. S.S. Bijral former IGP State Convener of BBBP called upon Jammuites to welcome girl child and correct abysmally fallen Child Sex Ratio (CSR) of 795 against 1000 boys in the district.
Addressing students of Boys Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, Little Star Public High School Akhnoor, Tiny Aspirant Public High School Jourian and of Govt. Higher Secondary school Jourian, in four separate functions, Bijral enumerated capabilities of girl child that have earned her title of home builder, first teacher of new born and role model of countless who happened to have led the world. He lamented that this gift of God without whom the continuation of life on the planet is impossible is being eliminated in the womb abusing the scientific technology. He called upon youth to be ambassador of this campaign for country sakSeema Sharma, the principal of Tiny Aspirant Public High School Jourian impressed with the campaign objectives and the goals volunteered to associate with this national project launched by PM Narinder Modi. She resented social thinking of worshipping goddesses but not letting welcoming birth of the girl child who is far superior biologically than males.
