BJP Jammu Distt. organised a meeting of Distt. Office bearers, Mandal President & Mandal General Secretaries under its Distt. President Baldev Singh Billowaria at Kachi Chawni office.
BJP State Vice- President & Distt. Prabhari Rajni Sethi, State Secretary & Seh Prabhari Anuradha Charak also graced the occasion.
Baldev Singh Billawaria announced the setting up of committees for further taking programmes like “Beti Bachao Beti Phadao” and “Swacch Bharat Abhayan” to every nook and corner of the district besides educating the people about the achievements of Narendra Modi government.
Addressing the meeting, Rajni Sethi said that a number of schemes for the economic and social upliftment of the women have been initiated and the same need to be highlighted. She said that the women activists of the party should help the genuinely deserving females to avail the benefits of various welfare schemes.
Anuradha Charak said that women constitute over about 50 per cent population of the society and hence they need to be empowered so that they too contribute in nation building as well as extending help to the womenfolk to rise and progress in life.
Baldev Singh said that the party has been organising programmes at different-levels under “Vikas Parv” to high Modi Government’s two years splendid governance at the Centre. He asked the Presidents of Mandals to convene meetings of their teams and deputes them to different-wards and booths to mobilize the public opinion in favour of BJP.
Distt. General Secretary Vinay Gupta, who conduct the proceeding of the meeting, said that Jammu Distt. Team has started gearing up its activities and every effort is being made to ensure that more and more programmes are organized under “Vikas Parv”.
Anil Masoom, Parsho Sharma, Sat Pal Choudhary, Vikas Sharma, Shallu Gupta, Sheela Devi, Rekha Mahajan, Ankush Gupta, Ch. Harbans Lal, Prof Sham Lal, Ramesh Gupta and others attended the meeting.
