‘Convention was organized by District President Ganderbal to welcome new entrants into the party fold’
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir, organized one day party workers convention in Ganderbal, on Monday.
A huge gathering of workers attended the convention, which was headed by Ashok Kaul, State General Secretary (Org).
Kaul greeted the party high command for landslide victory in Utter Pradesh, Uttra Khand and Goa. “People have out rightly rejected the parties, which deceived the people in the country for decades and voted for BJP in these states,” Kaul said, adding, people have realized the public welfare policies of party.
“BJP’s policies and working atmosphere, and public dealings have been widely accepted by the general public, which was why they voted BJP to power,” Kaul said.
He asked party workers to have faith on party leadership in the state for the better functioning of the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Surinder Amberdar, BJP MLC asked the workers to gear up for Panchayati elections in the state and elect the representatives for local governance. “I appeal you to prepare for upcoming Panchayati elections in the state and choose your representatives as Panchayat members,” Amberdar said, adding, the general public have a chance to chose the Panchayat members of their choice.
During the convention, dozens of people joined the party.
The convention was organized by Bashir Ahmad Bhat, District President Ganderbal.
Present on the occasion was Arif Raja Protocol In Charge, Sheikh Rashid senior party member, Nazir Ahmad Raina, Incharge Shopian, Bilal Ahmad Parry, BJYM State Secretary, Constituency Incharges Ganderbal, Kangan Abid Hussain and Ghulam Hassan Rather and other senior workers.
