BJP Mahila Morcha Talab Tillo Mandal of Jammu West District held its Mandal Working Committee Meeting at Bhagwati Nagar to discuss the ongoing organizational activities, forthcoming party programmes while providing a platform for two way interaction between the ground level party activists and the senior leaders of the party. BJP State Vice-President Parmod Kapahi, Mahila Morcha State President Purnima Sharma, BJP District President Ayodhya Gupta, Morcha State General Secretary Sanjita Dogra and other senior leaders were also present during the meeting.
Parmod Kapahi, while addressing the meeting, said that the Working Committee Meeting act as the strong medium to strengthen the organizational network of the party and as BJP is a proud cadre based party owing to its fundamental democracy embedded principles. He asked all the party especially Mahila Morcha activists to create a strong affectionately bound relations with all the women living in their vicinity to ensure that all the public welfare schemes and policies of Government are targeted to the deserving population.
Purnima Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, emphasized on the role of women in the society and said that the women being the 50% of the total population must acquire a more pro-active role in every field of the world while attending to their familial responsibilities and just not restrict themselves to the secured boundary of 4 walls of the home.
Ayodhya Gupta also threw light on the various organizational matters and the future programmes to be undertaken by the activists and prompted them to work hard in view of continuous election season ahead.
Morcha Mandal President, Asha Sharma apprised the various programmes undertaken by the Morcha Mandal activists during the past months and assured that the Morcha activists will work dedicatedly for the extension of party activities
