Bridging of regions and religions is must for overall development :Vibodh

GREETED PEOPLE ON RAMNAVMI AND PRAYED FOR PEACE, PROSPERITY AND BROTHERHOOD IN ALL THE REGIONS OF THE NATION

To reach out the common people of Border District Rajouri and to address their grievances,  MLC Vibod Gupta took a series of public meetings at Bal, Dhangri, Gunni and Saranoo, where hundreds of people gathered and shared their miseries. Ex-Sarpanches, Panches and prominent citizens of the area informed Vibodh, that there is major problem regarding exaggerated Electricity bills, being served to the public. People also brought the problems being faced by them regarding non-availability of water connections, missing road connectivity and clearance of work done liabilities under MGNREGA. Local residents of the area also told that during the past regime, the area remained totally cutoff from the word development, but now they have good hopes from the present govt.
Gupta patiently listened all the locals of the different areas and learned about their day to day problems. Addressing a series of public meetings, Gupta firstly greeted all the locals on Ramnavmi and jointly prayed for Peace, prosperity and brotherhood. Bridging of Regions and Religions is must for overall Development. He said that coalition Government is committed to implement all the welfare schemes in a most transparent manner, to ensure their benefits to the needy ones. He said that the administration has been made more responsive and accountable to the people to achieve the discernible results on ground. He said that Government is aware about the problems of the people of rural areas and serious efforts are being made to address these on fast-track basis.

Promising to develop the Rajouri as model District, Gupta said that this segment remained neglected by the previous regimes and all efforts would be made to strengthen the essential infrastructure, like road network, electricity, drinking water, education, health services and sanitation facilities for the convenience of the people. Gupta said that Coalition Govt. is trying hard to bring the State on world Tourism Map.

He said Inauguration of Nashri Tunnel by Narender Bhai Modi, Prime Minister of India having length 9.2 Kms (longest in Asia) is historic step towards the development. Gupta second the words of Narender Bhai Modi, that People should focus Tourism, not on terrorism. Love and Peace should prevail all over the Nation only then a developed Nation could come into existence. He also appreciated the people of area having mixed population, for maintaining peace and harmony during the tough times and said that being Human, we all must stand united to reply to divisive forces. He maintained that BJP-PDP Coalition is just to usher an era of massive development in the State besides taking it out of its perennial miseries and problems.

Gupta also informed the public that roads under PMGSY, which were left abandoned by the previous Govt. have now been taken up under Xth phase and Rs.326.00 crores stands released for 68 Nos of Roads all over the District and work on the same shall be started soon. Regarding Water scarcity in the areas, he said that a total of 628 pumps have been repaired (Rajouri-178, Darhal-122, kalakote-141,Nowshera-187) during 2016-17 and DPR for water Tanks shall get prepared especially for these areas to provide un interrupted water supply to the general public.
Gupta asked the people to bring their problems in his notice in the form of representations so that these are addressed appropriately in a shortest possible time. He said Sanctioning of various bridges in District Rajouri shall give multiple connectivity to this area. He added that he shall not only bring an end to the miseries of the people but also strengthen their faith in the country’s democratic discourse thereby helping them in rejecting the path of violence and bitterness.
Gupta said that Modi led Government at Centre and PDP-BJP coalition in the State is committed to weed out corruption, nepotism and misrule form public life and work for betterment and up liftment of common masses.
Senior BJP leader Kamal Bakshi, said that the Government functionaries are leaving no stone unturned in facilitating people and appealed the people to stay in touch with the Govt. and no genuine work shall be held up, he added.
