Condemns Yesterday’s Cowardly Militant Attack at Samba & Nagrota
BJP senior leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta accompanied by party leaders and prominent citizens of Rajouri today started the work on damaged pathways specially for the tiles. It is worth mentioning that during the past tiles were fixed on various pathways in Rajouri town but after that no repair work was ever done. As a result of this the various pathways are regularly getting damaged and giving a shabby look. On this occasion MLC vibodh Gupta announced a grant of Rs. 5 lakh for this reconstruction and repair work on tiles in different parts of Rajouri town. Addressing a gathering on the occasion MLC Vibodh Gupta retreated that fact that present Government is highly committed to ensure that common citizens get the necessary facilities which they deserve. He said that for this work he is pleased to announce a grant of Rs. 5.5 lakh out of his CDF and hoped that this will help in achieving the desired outputs.
On this occasion MLC Vibodh strongly condemned the yesterday’s militant attack at Samba and Nagrota. He along with the citizens of Rajouri saluted the brave soldiers who were martyred during this attack. MLC Vibodh expressed strong anguish and grief over the loss of seven brave officers and soldiers of Indian Army. He said that we can not keep losing the precious lives of citizens and soldiers due to the inhuman acts of a hostile neighbor. These acts are result of desperation and frustration in the enemy camp which is forcing them to engage in such cowardly acts. He also referred to the recent demonetization move by the central Government and said that this besides targeting the black money has also hit the evil designs of our enemy who were using fake currency to fund terrorism in our state.
While referring to Yesterday’s PM’s direction to BJP MP’s, MLA’s and other senior leaders to submit their account details, Vibodh said that only a honest and brave PM like Narendra Modi can issue such directions. He welcomed this move and expressed hope that this will bring more transparency and accountability in our system. He said that Government’s recent war against black money will ensure that this money is spent on the welfare activities for poor for which this money was meant. Concluding his speech Vibodh hoped that in future Rajouri town will see many more developmental activities in near future. He called upon the civil society of Rajouri to become part of such activities and have a ownership of these developmental moves. Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Officials of PWD Department, Rajiv Rotra, Atam Gupta, Kamal Bakshi, Majid Bhat, Bashir Bhat, Manoj Gupta,Sanjay Sethi, Kanwal Gupta, Ranjeet Tara, Nishu Gupta and Raja Rattan.
