In a meeting of BJP Good Governance Department, chaired by State President & MLA Sat Sharma CA, alongwith State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, it was decided to organize a “Conference of Intelligentia” on BJP Foundation Day on April 8. Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh would be the Chief Guest & the main speaker, whereas Sat Sharma shall preside the conference and address the gathering. The focus of the conference would be journey of BJP since its birth in 1980, ups and downs in all these years and the progress it achieved in the short span of 37 years. In the conference, the achievements of BJP as a party as well as its performance while heading the government at the Centre with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister would be highlighted. The present political scenario and the achievements in the economic field, like demonetization and GST would also be in emphasized.
Sat Sharma, while speaking in the meeting, said that the visit of Dr. Jitendra Singh is a part of nationwide programme of BJP, where each Member of Parliament, including ministers, have been assigned the task to make the people aware about the achievements of the party and its governments, both at the Centre and the State level and also have interaction with party activists and the general public during their 48 hours stay in an allotted Parliamentary Constituency.
Sat Sharma further informed the meeting that Union Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi shall visit Srinagar Parliamentary constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP Lok Sabha shall visit Baramulla Parliamentary constituency and Shamsher Singh Manhas, Rajya Sabha MP, has been assigned Anantnag constituency. All of them shall address the public and workers meetings in their allotted constituencies, apprise them about the achievements of the government at the Centre, the welfare programmes initiated by it and aware them about the success of the party in the recent held assembly elections and benefits of GST Bill to the public in general.
