Karan Sat Sharma visits Ward 27, also inaugurates deveopmental works

In order to provide best level basic amenities to residents of Jammu West, State Vice President BJYM(Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) Karan Sat Sharma started developmental works at Christian Colony area of Bakshi Nagar near Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Bakshi Nagar. Accompanied by senior officials of JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) including Ex En Central Division Parvodh Sharma and AEE JP Saraf, Sharma started the works of Drain costing around Rupees 3 lakhs in the presence of large number of people including local residents and political activists of the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Karan Sat Sharma said that it was a long pending demand of the residents of the area as earlier in rainy seasons, the waters gathered inside the school premises and eventually entered the houses of locals which led to deteriorating the properties of locals and also led to leakages in walls of dozens of houses.
He said a delegation form the area met State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) and apprised him about the miseries faced by the residents and taking a quick action on the same, the MLA forwarded the complaint to Commissioner JMC who took bold step of solving the problems of people and started the works of channelizing the water of rains from the area by construction of a proper drainage system.
Karan also toured the area and listened to grievances of locals and took immediate action by solving their problems of Sanitation, installation of crates on drains and other basic problems by giving them on spot redressal and assured the masses that sanitation system will be checked on regular basis and cleanliness will be the priority in all spheres of Jammu West.
BJP Leaders Sanjay Sawhney, Suresh Gupta, Manpreet Kour, Younis Mantoo, Lakhvinder Singh, Sunil Singh, Atul Bakshi, Ravinder Singh, Sudershan Singh, Sandeep Singh, Pummy, Kripal singh, Kartar Singh Choudhary, Ankush Sharma, Contractors Mahesh Choudhary & Deepak Gupta and several others were also present on the occasion.
