The visarjan of Lord Ganesh murti was organised by Shree Ganesh Puja Comittee where honourable MLA Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion.
The honourable MLA was accompanied by town team committee Prafull,Rajinder Abrol,Sanjay Abrol, Rajeev Sharma, Shamma,Parvesh Kumar.
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Karan Singh,Suresh Bharti,Ravi Singh,Ved Padha,Happy Singh and Chunni Singh.
A shobha yatra was also organised on the occasion that went through the various areas of the city and many devotees participated in the yatra with great devotion and fervour.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that our country is a mosaic of cultural and religious diversity but in essence it remains one and that is the beauty of our country.He said that Jammu is a city inhabited by people who are full of devotion and our city is known as the city of temples and on the occasion of Shri Ganesh Ji visarjan I offer my prayers and best wishes to the people of Jammu.
