One day District Working Committee meeting of BJP Jammu was held in the premises of BJP head office at Trikuta Nagar Jammu. All District office bearers, Mandal Presidents, Morchas Presidents including President, President Maheela Morcha attended the meeting. The working Committee meeting was graced by the distinguished presence of Sh. Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East ,Harinder Gupta, State General Secretary Anuradha Charak State Secretary, and Baldev Singh Billawaria, District President BJP Jammu to welcome all in the meeting and briefly gave resume party activities for the last three months. Billawaria said that it the matters of pride and happiness that this meeting has been converted whom all the three dignitaries in the government are from BJP. He congratulated all on the victory of veteran M. Vainiakh Naidu as Vice-President of India which have paved the way for congress free India.
Kavinder Gupta MLA Gandhi Nagar & Speaker J&k Legislative Assembly addressing the working committee meeting of BJP Jammu said that both central and state Government are working hard for the welfare of the people and there is need to educate people about achievements of Government. He said that it is a matter for us to see the strengthening of BJP from 2 to 282 MP in Lok sabha BJP has done well performing overuse aimed at the welfare of the people of our great country. He said that the even before BJP or NDA Government at the centre has been working tireless in addressing the genuine grievance of the people. He said that our relation with foreign country have improved a lot as a result of which Pakistan has considerably between expose as terrorist country. Harinder Gupta State general Secretary speaking on the occasion said that BJP has a political party has emerged as force to reckon with. All Mandal Presidents and Morchas Presidents raveled in detail the programs conducted by them during the last three months. Most of the Mandal president related the activity performed in Swacch Bharat Abhiyan helping desilting of Nallahas, Educating the people about achievements of MODI Government in various parts of District. The revelation made by Mandal and Morchas Presidents were appreciated by District President who asked them to convene respective Mandal Morcha Working Committee Meeting with in one week positively.
A Political resolution commending landmark achievements by Party workers was passed in the district working committee meeting the resolution also congratulated the center and state Government for intiatng new programs. For strengthening the economy the resolution adopted also applauded historical step of union Government implementing Good and service Tax (GST) and also appreciated the endeavors of state Government in extending the serve to J&K. The resolution also appreciated greater transperancy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi particulary in giving free hand to security Forces in tackling the militance.
