Leader of BJP Legislative Party and former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh has expressed serious concern over the repeated attempts of Pakistan to foment trouble in India especially Jammu and Kashmir state. He said that BJP led NDA government has a clear policy of Nation first, Party Second and Self Last.
Dr. Nirmal Singh addressing a public meeting at Village Mela and Dinga Amb while laying foundation stone of a Community Facilitation centre worth Rs. 35 lakh and inaugurating the Black topping of Dyalachak-Chhallan(Dasanu-Dinga Amb to Challan) worth Rs. 3.35 Cr said that recent unearthing of a tunnel at RS Pura is a serious matter and Ministry of External Affairs has taken up the matter with Pakistan.
He said that Billawar constituency has seen a turn around in development activity during PDP-BJP coalition government’s 10 months rule and politico-contractor mafia nexus has been broken. “Our focus has been on providing good and corruption free governance with a focus on peace, prosperity and development.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that as part of good governance the issuance and delivery of Income and disability certificate at beneficiaries door step has been introduced and started from Billawar assembly constituency. Besides, more than Rs. 200 crore worth developmental projects have been started in the constituency.
He said that development initiatives including AIIMS, IIT, IIM,IIMC, Express highways etc. were launched in the state within a short span of ten months.
Dr. Nirmal Singh asked the party workers to spread the message of BJP governments achievements to the grassroot level and get ready of Panchayat and Urban Bodiies elections.
Later in a meeting with the officers of the district administration, Former Deputy Chief Minister reviewed the arrangements for the historic Shivratri mela in Billawar and issued on spot instructions for smooth conduct of the function.
Others present on the occasion were Mandal President Sudesh Kumar Sethu, Rashpal Verma and Narayan Dutt Tripathi.
