In the simmering heat MLA Rajesh Gupta inaugurated 5 water coolers at Gumat Stairs,Sundar Singh Gurdwara Road, Pacca Danga Bazar,Govt.School Dhonthly and Peer Mitha Bazaar today on the eve of Tamdeh and Sankranti.
MLA was accompanied by Chamber of Commerce Vice President Rajeev Gupta and Gumat Bazaar Association members Ashok, Virender Gupta and Harvinder Singh and and also accompanied by Pacca danga traders association Harish gupta and ramlubhaya and also accompanied by JMC officials Rajeev pandoh, R.k. koul and Yaseen.
The inauguration of the water coolers in the hot summer month of June was appreciated by the people of the concerned areas.The members of the respective market associations thanked the initiative taken by the MLA and requested for more number of water coolers in areas that have remained uncovered.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu east is the business hub of the city and a large number of people visit the area and we have to create facilities for them so that they feel comfortable.
Rajesh Gupta said that Jammu east should be a model constituency as we have a large number of Mata Vaishno Devi yatris visiting the temples and bazaars in the area.The project to convert Raghunath Bazaar into a heritage market is well on course and the parking projects are progressing well. Rajesh Gupta also appealed to the people to connect themselves to one or the other landmark schemes launched by the Modi Jis government .
