Sat Sharma raises the question of regularization of unauthorized colonies in Jammu

Raising the utmost important issue of regularization of unauthorized colonies in the Legislative Assembly session, State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) has asked the concerned Minister for fixing the time limit within which the regularization of the colonies are to be done. Sharma asked for the names of authorized and unauthorized colonies in Jammu city and its outskirts and also the colonies which are under the due process of regularization.
In a reply made by Deputy Chief Minister and Minister In charge for Housing and Urban Development Dr Nirmal Singh, he responded that a total of 21 unauthorized colonies are there in jusrisdiction of JDA/JMC and soon a viable solution will be brought to the issue so that the colonies could be regularized.
Sat Sharma also asked for the time frame to be set up for regularization of colonies in Jammu West Assembly segment including areas of Rehari Colony, New Plot, Subash Nagar, Patoli, Sarwal, Janipur and other areas where the colonies are not regularized. The BJP MLA also stated that concerned department did not mention anything about the regularization of the colonies in Jammu West to which he responded sharply and said that the names and wards mentioned in his question were not depicted in the answer and the unauthorized colonies in Jammu West should be regularized at the same rate as was done previously. He also demanded for speedy solution to the problem faced by residents of Jammu West.
