Saudan Singh chairs Udhampur BJP District meeting

On the second day of his tour of the state, BJP National Joint General Secretary (Organization) Saudan Singh, along with State President & MLA Sat Sharma, State General Secretary Pawan Khajuria, State Secretary & District Parbhari Anil Parihar, MLAs- R.S. Pathania and Dina Nath Bhagat, chaired a meeting of the Udhampur District BJP. The meeting was convened by District President Rakesh Gupta and attended by District Office Bearers and the District Working Committee members drawn from different parts of the District.

The District President introduced the District Team, Mandal and Morcha Presidents and briefed about the organizational set up at different levels across the district. He also presented details related various activities being undertaken during the last three months in the district. Similar details were also shared by the Mandal and Morcha Presidents.

Saudan Singh, while addressing the meeting, said that BJP is a party with healthy tradition of constituting its organizational units at National, State, District, Mandal and Booth levels besides holding meetings at regular intervals. He said that meeting after some intervals provides an opportunity to interact with each other and get the opportunity to share party’s programmes and also seek guidance for effective conduct of every event. He said that the visits of the National leaders at state, district and mandal levels enhance the knowledge of the local activists and acquaint them with accurate information related to party’s ideology, principals and the work culture.

Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, said that it is indeed a matter of pride that BJP has a well knit structures of the party at all levels which serve as a bridge between the top leadership and the lowest level activists and hence strengthen the party. He said that the BJP is in power at the centre and in the state and the role of the party activists becomes more important as he or she has to reach masses with the pro-people and pro-development programmes and policies of the governments and the BJP is regularly conducting training workshops to prepare the cadre for the purpose of educating the public more effectively.
