Minister of State for Transport & Revenue Sunil Sharma, during his public darbar at Kachi Chawni Office of BJP, after listening to the deputations of the three wheeler Unions, issued on the spot instructions to the senior officials of the Transport Department for constituting a committee to look into their grievances related to replacement of the old meters in their vehicles. As it was brought into his notice that the three wheeler drivers are being forced to fix new meters and the department is not renewing their old vehicles on this pretext, Sunil Sharma assured them that a committee is being constituted to address their common problem.
Even majority of the other people, who called on the minister, had their grievances related to Transport and Revenue Departments.
Sunil Sharma took up one by one problem and most of them were solved as immediate directions were issued to the concerned officials.
Sunil Sharma, while talking to media on the occasion, said that the BJP as well as its ministers in the coalition government are concerned for the mitigation of the problems of the people and every effort is made to ensure whatever hardships and grievances people have, are redressed at the earliest. He said that the people of Jammu had rejected other parties and brought in BJP and it is our duty to come up to their expectations and party stands on its commitment to work for their welfare and development. He announced that anyone having any problem related to any department is welcomed to directly meet the ministers at party office during their sittings there.
BJP State Secretary Sanjay Baru, BJP senior leader Munish Sharma, District President Ayodhya Gupta and BJP Cells Incharge S. Varinderjeet Singh assisted the minister during his public darbar.
