The BJP urban Mandal of Rajouri organized a major organized a major cleanliness drive at bus stand Rajouri. The programme was organized to mark the completion of the 2nd year of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. On this occasion a large number of citizens of Rajouri also participated in the programme. The programme started with cleanliness drive which was led by Kuldeep Raj Gupta, MOS and Chairman Phari Advisory Board and MLC Vibodh Gupta. Speaking on the occasion Kuldeep Raj Gupta said that Swachh Bharat Abhiyan can get success only once every citizens of this country becomes part of it. Thus it becomes the responsibility of each and every citizen of this country to actively take part in such campaigns. While addressing the gathering, senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta appreciated the visionary approach of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi for launching such a campaign. He said that this campaign over the past two years has transformed the common man’s thinking about cleanliness. He further added that the way the citizens of this country are becoming part of this cleanliness mission the day is not far off when we will soon see a clean India. This he said will be a real tribute to the father of our nation who always advocated cleanliness. MLC Vibodh also appreciated the teachers who participating in this campaign by education our younger generation about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. This he said is playing a vital role in changing the mental attitude of our younger generation at a early stage. The present young generation is becoming more sensitive towards cleanliness and credit for this goes to our younger generation. He called upon the citizens to ensure massive participation in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, so that we can leave a clean and green environment for our future generations.
BJP Rajouri unit president Dinesh Sharma who was also present on the occasion thanked the party workers for taking part in the programme in large numbers. He urged upon everyone to be part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and do whatever they can to ensure cleanliness of their surroundings. Prominent among other who were present on the occasion included Atam Gupta, Kamal Bakshi, Darbar Choudhary, Nishu Gupta, Amrish Gupta, Nischal Gupta, Bodh Raj and Vackey Gupta.
